I founded Truestep Financial Planning to provide financial advice in a clear, structured, and personal way. I believe good financial planning starts with taking the time to understand people properly and explaining things in plain English, so clients feel confident in the decisions they make.
I work with clients across retirement planning, pensions, investments, and protection, always tailoring advice to individual circumstances. I value long‑term relationships and supporting clients as their goals and lives change over time.
Outside of work, sport plays a big part in my life, although these days I watch more than I play. I’m a season ticket holder at both Bristol City and Bristol Bears, and I’m actively involved in grassroots football as a coach for my son’s team as well as serving on the club committee.
When I’m not on the football pitch, I enjoy skiing, camping, and travelling, whether that’s exploring the UK in my campervan or heading further afield. I believe balance is important, and these interests help keep perspective both personally and professionally.

Whether protecting assets or ensuring financial security for the future, I help clients put the right plans in place. I take pride in building long-term relationships and supporting clients as their circumstances change.
Away from work, I am an avid sports fan. During the football season, you’ll often find me keeping up from afar regarding my hometown club, Reading FC, while also cheering on my adopted local side, Racing Club Warwick. I also enjoy attempting to explain the rules of cricket and Gaelic football to friends.
I’m actively involved in the local community, including serving as a governor at a primary school. Taking the time to support and understand people from different walks of life is something I find hugely rewarding and informs both my personal and professional life.
